Grace doesn't lead us to become apathetic toward right and wrong. Instead, grace teaches us to hold tightly to what is good—what is true, what is righteous, what reflects the character of God.

One of the toughest parts of following Jesus is resisting our natural instinct to focus on ourselves. Jesus continually directs our attention to others—those who need encouragement, forgiveness, friendship, a listening ear, or just someone to sit with. It's about reminding people, “You're not alone.”
