Doctrine of the Perseverance and Glorification of the Saints = If I believe God sustains me, then I will have hope.

God's sovereignty over His people is demonstrated in His redemptive work.

Christians live in the security of our salvation, while enduring the reality of life in a fallen world.

Paul moves from knowing these realities (academic/mental) to being sure of these realities (convinced/personal).
Jesus taught the perseverance of the saints.
John 6:37-40

Glorification = the future completion of the redemptive work of God in all believers
Philippians 1:6
