TIPPING POINT: The Principle of the First

Give to him, and don't have a stingy heart when you give, and because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you do.

God will not do what you can do, but God is willing to do what you cannot do.

Provision means my basic needs are met.

Protection means there is security around that provision.

When it comes to tipping the scale toward God's provision and protection, what carries the most weight with God?

Money can change the things you worry about without removing worry.

God knew her financial situation.

FIRST.

The Principle of the First:
Whatever, wherever, and whenever I put God first, I invite God into that area of my life.

Who am I going to thank?
Who am I going to trust?

God sent Elijah to the widow because God had something for her too.

God doesn't always give you the answer for ten years from now. But He gives you enough, for what you need in the moment.

The tithe - Returning the first ten percent of our increase to God through His church.

The key word is "first".

Putting God first does not mean you never face a crisis. It means you do not face the crisis without God.

God doesn't pawn us off on somebody else.

What tips the scale is putting God first.

When you put God first, God meets you at your need.
