This week, we continue to look at this question… What does a healthy church community look like? When people are transformed by the gospel, it also means being rooted and having their lives be centered in Jesus. With so many cultures and mindsets surrounding the church of Colossae, it can be very tempting to just add it on top of following Jesus.

When we follow Jesus, we are transformed. Everything that we say, do, and think is centered in him. When everyone is transformed by Jesus, it calls for everyone to be rooted in Him. We continue to grow, establish, and be fruitful in Him.

Our prayer is for you to grow your love and pursuit of Jesus deeper, and for our English Worship community to be rooted in Him that we all grow in knowing and loving Jesus together. When we have Jesus, we have everything that we need.

What makes a healthy church?

Healthy communities are…
- transformed by the Gospel
- shaped by love
- sent to transform the world.

Our need for community

A deeper desire calls for deeper roots.

A healthy church is a rooted church in Christ.

Verse 6: “And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him.”

A rooted church is a church that continues to grow.

A rooted church is a church continued to be centered in Jesus

Trends fade, truth stays.

A rooted church is a fruitful church.

Are you rooted in Jesus?
