The Vine Church- Give
Giving gives us an opportunity to recognize that God is the Giver of every good and perfect Gift! It also allows us to fund the mission and vision of the church. Every life that is transformed by the power of Jesus Christ through The Vine is a result of your generosity. Thanks for being cheerful and generous givers!
https://app.securegive.com/TheVineTeaching Notes:
- When it looks like there's no way, God is your way maker.
- A stuck situation is not the same thing as a finished story.
- Fear makes us forget God's faithfulness.
- We can shift our focus from the size of the obstacle to the size of our God.
- God's unstoppable power is revealed in seemingly impossible places.
Reflection Questions:
1. Where in your life do you currently feel trapped or stuck? What emotions has that situation stirred up in you?
2. When you face uncertainty, do you tend to focus more on your obstacles or on God's faithfulness? Why do you think that is?
3. Looking back over your life, what is one specific way God has been faithful to you that you need to remember today? Why is remembering what God has done important?
4. Is there an area of your life where you've been waiting for God to remove the obstacle, while He may be inviting you to simply take the next step of obedience?
5. What fear has the greatest influence over your decisions right now? How might that fear be keeping you from trusting God?
