Life Groups Summer Gatherings

Join us for a relaxed and enjoyable social times hosted by our Life Groups! We’ll gather several times a month throughout the summer. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re in a Life Group or not.

Salvation Army Back-to-School Shopping Spree - August 6

The annual Salvation Army “Back-to-School Shopping Spree” takes place Thursday, August 6, at the Colorado Mills Target. This special event benefits Golden elementary school students who are identified by school staff as being in need. We are expecting 80 children this year and will provide $125 Target gift cards for each child to purchase clothing and shoes.

There are two ways to participate:

Assist a child with shopping as a CHAPERONE. Shifts start at either 8:00 or 9:00 am and last about an hour. You will be provided with detailed instructions including the wish list and sizes of your child.

SPONSOR a child with a donation towards the purchase of back-to-school clothing & shoes.

Baptisms in Clear Creek - August 9

We'll be doing baptisms down at the river on August 9! If you are interested in being baptized, please email Pastor Kevin.

Children's Ministry in August

Children’s ministry is actively looking for volunteers to teach 1st-2nd and 3rd-5th grade on Sunday mornings after worship, beginning in August. All supplies are prepared and made ready for you. Contact Tom or Angela Wheaton if you are interested!

Women's Ministry
Women's Ministry is encouraging the women of the church to read the Bible, just a chapter a day, and join the TableTop gathering for discussion the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm.

The women's Saturday morning Bible study is taking a break until fall.

Men's Ministry
There is a men’s gathering on the third Thursday of every month. These gatherings provide great opportunities for ment to grow in their relationships with one another and with the Lord.

Young Adults
The Young Adults group serves college students and young professionals. There are several gatherings throughout the month.

Youth Group
Youth Group includes both middle-schoolers and high-schoolers. The group will be meeting at various, pre-announced times during the summer. The Sunday Morning Youth Group will resume in the Fall.

Children's Ministry
Our Children's Ministry serves the kids of Hillside from nursery through fifth grade. We are always on the lookout for servant-hearted people who love kids to help with our Children's Ministry.

Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers offer one-to-one, Christ-centered, emotional and spiritual care for people in the congregation going through difficult times such as job loss, financial struggles, medical issues, or death of a loved one.

Care Team Ministry
The Care Team Ministry provides transportation for those in need in our Hillside Family.

Prayer Ministry
You can receive prayer in person from 9:30-10:00am Sunday mornings in the cry room adjacent to the church lobby. To submit a prayer request, email the Prayer Team.

The monthly prayer nights will resume in August.

Meals Ministry
The Meals Ministry is a practical way to meet the needs of others in the congregation who are welcoming a new baby or experiencing challenging circumstances.
