What's a ministry tour?
We covered that last week in Mark 6:6-12.

Ministry tour wasn't fancy. It was rough. But after coming back, wouldn't you want to hear each other's stories?
Jesus wanted to hear what happened as well...but Mark 6:34 NLT “Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.”

Sheep without a shepherd is like a child without their parent.
Here, I feel like the disciples are being responsible. This is something I think I would do.
The Situation: The disciples just get back from a long mission trip. They're tired and hungry. They just want to hangout and talk stories. But crowds of people gather around them, so Jesus begins to teach them.
The Problem: After it's getting late, Jesus tells the disciples to feed the people.

The RESULT of the whole thing was that the disciples were able to do what Jesus asked them to do. God’s will was done.
The process helps us get to the result of WHAT happened. It answers the HOW. But another question that comes up is WHY?

1. God wants us to move past our own comfort.
