How To Know Which Way To Go
"If you’re a citizen of heaven, divine direction is in your Bill of Rights"
You have a right to be led by the Spirit of God! Don’t let the anything keep you from walking in the promises of God!
WEEK THREE: HOW TO KNOW...PT 3
Troubles will come your way, no matter who you are – BUT – you don’t have to think of trouble in the same way other people do.
We’re still talking about “How to Know...” but we read those few verses so we could understand the context of the following verse:
In context, he’s saying – When trouble comes your way, and your faith is being tested, and you don't know which way to go -- ASK GOD.
#1 Pray First
We prolong our suffering unnecessarily when we use prayer as a “last resort.”
#2 – Pray In the Spirit
“Pray First” is always the right answer, but...What if you don’t know what to pray for?
#3 – Walk By Faith
At some point the believer has to settle with finality that their steps are ordered of the Lord.
God promised to direct your paths, but don’t expect so much information that following Him won't still require faith.
