Most of us are much better at looking found than actually being found.

Somewhere along the way...
we started trusting the gifts more than the Giver.

Jesus didn’t come to give us better directions.
He came because what we needed most wasn’t more information.
It was Him.

“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”

The way home is a Person.

Where. are. you?

Nobody asks for directions until they’re willing to admit, “I don’t know where I am anymore.”

A lost sheep.
A lost coin.
A lost son.
They all belonged.

He’s asking because you’re His, and He’s come looking for you.

Lost.
The First Wrong Turn.
False Roads.
Comes Looking.
Home Again.

Nobody ever says,
“Honestly... I think I’m lost.”

Where are you?

“Did God really say...?”
“You will be like God.”

She stopped trusting what God said and started trusting what she saw.

The first wrong turn wasn’t reaching for a tree.
It was reaching for God’s place.

Nobody starts out trying to reject God.
We simply start listening to another voice a little more than His.

The problem isn’t the gift. The problem is when we ask the gift to do what only the Giver can do.

Every good gift was designed to point beyond itself.

What’s been promising you life lately?

Only Jesus can give you what every false road promises.

When we go looking for life in all the wrong places...
God comes looking for us.

Adam tried to cover himself.
God provided the covering.

The Father didn’t stand at a distance and shout directions.
He came Himself.

The Christian life isn’t a one-time decision to trust Jesus.
It’s spending the rest of your life learning to trust Him with every room of your heart.

You stop carrying what was never yours to carry.

"Come out of hiding, you're safe here with Me."

Where are you?

Wherever your answer takes you...
don’t stay there.
Go home.
