Real Life Church

Every Part Matters
Everybody is looking for a place to belong. A place where they can be known, loved, and discover that their life matters. Over the next four weeks, we're pulling back the curtain on the story of Real Life Church—not because our story is special, but because it points to the God who writes incredible stories through ordinary people. Whether you've been here for years or you're walking through our doors for the very first time, this series is an invitation. An invitation to see where we've come from, what God has done, and how He might be weaving your story into something bigger than you ever imagined. Because this isn't just our story. It's not just your story. It's God's story.

NEW TO REAL LIFE?
Too many people believe ministry is for pastors, missionaries, or "super Christians." But the Bible paints a completely different picture. Jesus didn't just save you—He gifted you. And He has a unique role only you can play in helping others know Him.
Discover how Christ, our victorious King, has uniquely equipped every believer with purpose, why your gifts matter more than you realize, and how ordinary people become extraordinary difference-makers when they step into God's calling.
You'll walk away with practical encouragement to discover your purpose, grow in your faith, share the Gospel with confidence, and begin using your gifts to strengthen others and make an eternal impact.
Because the Church isn't built by a few gifted leaders.
It's built when every person discovers, develops, and uses the gifts God has already placed within them.
Come discover why the Church needs you more than you think—and why the world needs the Church more than it could possibly know.

1. You Are God's Gift
Read: Ephesians 4:7-12
Paul reminds us that Christ doesn't just give gifts—He gives people as gifts to His Church.
- When you hear, "You are God's gift to the Church," what emotions or thoughts come to mind?
- Why do you think so many followers of Jesus struggle to believe they have something valuable to offer?
2. From Spectator to Participant
Read: Ephesians 4:12-13
The purpose of the Church isn't simply to gather people—it's to equip people for ministry.
- Have you ever found yourself attending church more as a spectator than a participant?
- What do you think is the difference between consuming ministry and contributing to ministry?
3. Every Part Matters
Read: Ephesians 4:14-16
Paul says the Body grows "as each part does its work."
- Who has helped equip you in your walk with Christ?
- How would our church—and our city—look different if every believer stepped into their God-given role?
4. What Is Holding You Back?
Many people hesitate to step into ministry because they feel unqualified, too busy, or not "spiritual enough."
- What fear keeps you from using your gifts more intentionally?
- How does knowing Christ is the victorious King who equips His people give you confidence to take a step?
5. Your Story Has Power
One of the greatest tools God has given you is your testimony.
- Where have you experienced God's grace, healing, forgiveness, or faithfulness?
- How could your story encourage someone who is walking through a similar season today?
- Is there someone in your life who needs to hear what Jesus has done in you?
6. Renewing Our Minds
Read: Ephesians 4:17-24
Paul contrasts the world's "futile thinking" with the renewed mind found in Christ.
- What messages from our culture do you find yourself believing most often?
- Which old mindset do you need to "put off"?
- What truth about your identity in Christ do you need to "put on" this week?
7. Who Are You Equipping?
Healthy disciples don't just grow—they help others grow.
- Who invested in your faith when you were younger in Christ?
- Who could you intentionally encourage, disciple, mentor, or pray with in this next season?
8. Ready to Take the Next Step
Imagine if every believer in our church embraced this simple truth:
"Every Part Matters."
- Where do you sense God calling you to serve, lead, or invest in others?
- How can this group encourage and pray for you as you step into that calling?
Closing Prayer
Take a moment and complete this sentence:
"Jesus has uniquely gifted me to..."
Then pray for one another—that each person would have the courage to step into God's calling, use their gifts to strengthen the Body of Christ, and equip others to do the same. Ask God to make Real Life a church that doesn't just gather people, but sends them into the world equipped to make disciples.
