When has your life felt like it was in the fog?

B) Then he does surgery — false hope out, God's truth in.
1) __________ → command to hope.

3) The fear and taunting → covenant _________.

4). Self-_________________ → request for God's leading.

C) We keep preaching by speaking to ourselves in ____________ (Pain & Hope channels)

D) We need to blast the hope-channel with God’s _______________
What have you been hoping in that’s failing you — and what truth can you replace it with?

B) God __________ by sending his Son to deal with suffering’s ultimate source sin.
1) Jesus entered the very ____________ the psalmist sang.

2) Through his Jesus’s suffering, God secured the ________ and rescue the psalmist longed for.

C) Jesus is the way out of the fog and into God’s ____________.

God is able to absorb our emotion and love us, even when we rage against him. God is like a good parent who is not put off when a frustrated child screams, "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you," to his mom because she put him to bed early for not completing his chores. God allows us to pour out our hearts to him and get rid of the poison, regardless of how much there is, so that it can be diluted in the ocean of his love. Jerry Sittser
