1. What is your go-to resource when you need help? How is that working for you?

2. Think of a time when relying on yourself, your own strength and resources, didn't end well. What did you learn from that experience?

3. What might be some idols you are relying on that need to be dismantled in your life? How can you replace them with living by the Spirit?

4. Charles Stanley stated to access and experience the guidance of the Holy Spirit we need to 1) accept that our own selves and resources are not enough to become like Jesus, 2) give the Holy Spirit authority over every area of our life, and 3) actively trust God, His plan, His good will. Of these three, what do you find the most challenging in this season of your life? Why?

5. Think back to a time you had a victory over a difficult situation or circumstance. Reflecting, can you identify instances of the Spirit growing you to be more like Jesus? Where did you see the fruit of the Spirit blossom?

6. Knowing the Spirit is given to every believer in Jesus, is pointing us to Jesus, growing us to be more like the character of Jesus (fruit) which takes time, how does that change your perspective when dealing with difficult relationships within our community?

7. This week, what is one thing you can do to lean more into the guiding of the Holy Spirit?
