What is Christian mysticism? What makes someone a mystic? Are these people just out there or do they have something deeply profound to share? Join Rev. Ryan in a 4-week class during the month of July where we will dive into the Christian mystical tradition to answer these very questions. In this class, we will look at Christian mystics throughout history with the goal of understanding what exactly Christian mysticism is and how we can learn from the tradition for our faith lives today. We will look at historical figures, asceticism, mystical theology, and contemplation in our time together, all with the goal of having our own faith transformed.
Stay after worship for food, fellowship, and fireworks! Bring your dinner to grill on the community BBQ, set up a tailgate spot in the back parking lot, and enjoy an evening of community as we watch the fireworks from StoneBridge’s campus.
