Does it look like the enemy is winning? With all that is going on in the world, do you question whether Christianity will make it in the long run? In Acts we see an amazingly dramatic launching of the church on the day of Pentecost, followed by intense hostility, including the legal pronouncement that the Christians could no longer speak or teach in the name of Jesus. Bold and filled with the Holy Spirit the church continued on and prevailed against its greatest enemy, the execution of two of its most prominent leaders, and the scattering caused by constant persecution.
