God reminds us that He is the Giver of all good gifts and the Father of Lights
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (James 1:17)
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (James 1:17)
We can learn from this that God the Father is:
1. The giver of life’s good gifts – gifts that bring satisfaction.
2. A good Father who gives light – no darkness, evil, or oppression.
3. Not a man that he should lie or deceive.
4. Unchanging. He is always the same.
