Sermon Series Overview:
Grab your popcorn and join us for a summer sermon series with a twist! Each week, we'll explore a different film and discover how its themes connect to timeless biblical truths. While movies entertain us, they also tell stories about hope, courage, redemption, love, purpose, and faith; stories that often echo God's greater story.

Together, we'll look beyond the screen to uncover scriptural insights that can inspire, challenge, and strengthen us in our everyday lives. Whether you're a movie lover, a seeker, or someone looking for a fresh way to engage with faith, this series invites you to see how God can speak through unexpected places.

Come experience the power of story and discover the truth behind the scenes.
Weekly Sermon Overview:
This Sunday’s sermon explores the profound intersection of biblical truth and modern technology through the lens of the iconic film, The Matrix. Just as the main character of the movie, Neo, senses a "splinter in the mind" that leads him to discover that his world is a digital simulation, today's believers often experience a spiritual disconnect in a culture saturated with artificiality and instant algorithmic answers calling us away from the truth found in Jesus Christ. The message is grounded in John 18:36-37, where Jesus proclaims to Pilate that His kingdom is not of this world but rooted in testimony to the truth. Furthermore, the message will address the contemporary discipleship concerns highlighted in Rev. Carey Nieuwhof’s Pastor's AI Survival Guide. It will serve as a challenge the congregation to recognize that while Artificial Intelligence; our modern-day version of The Matrix, can efficiently process data and generate quick answers, it can never replicate the slow, messy, and deeply transformative work of the Holy Spirit
