did Jesus come to Earth to give you a better life?
trust trades control for protection.
questions for discussion

1. Everyone trusts something. When life gets stressful or uncertain, what are you most tempted to trust instead of God (your education, your plans, your finances, your skills, your reputation, your network, your experience, etc.)?

2. Which of the three descriptions of trust challenged you most this week: dependence (“trust in the Lord”), surrender (“lean not on your own understanding”), or submission (“in all your ways submit to him”)? Why?

3. This week’s bottom-line was this: “trust trades control for direction.” What is one area of your life right now where you need to release control and simply trust God to guide your next step?
