Sermon Title: Love and Marriage?
8 To the unmarried and the widows: remain as you are - unless you NEED to get married.
10 To the married: remain as you are - stay married
12 To the rest I say: remain as you are - unless the unbelieving spouse wants to leave.
Entire chapter hinges on these two verses:

1. Faithfulness to Christ Matters More Than Your Marital Status
Takeaway: Your value and calling are found in Christ, not in your relationship status.

3. Believers Can Be a Positive Influence in Their Homes

4. Serve God Faithfully Where He Has Placed You
A major theme of this section is Paul's repeated instruction that believers should live faithfully in the situation in which God has called them.
Whether Jew or Gentile, slave or free, married or single, the priority is obedience to Christ rather than constantly seeking a different circumstance.
Takeaway: Spiritual maturity is not found in changing your circumstances but in faithfully following Jesus where you are.
