Setting our hearts and minds on things above changes the way we think and act.

Paul goes from knowledge, set your hearts, to disposition, set your minds, to action, put to death.

We must put to death whatever belongs to our Earthly nature.

These things destroy relationships.

In Christ we are new, so why are we still living in the old?

For us to put on the new, who we are must be renewed.

Compassion - be merciful and tender towards others.

Kindness - Surprise people with radical kindness.

Humility - Let God be the main character of your life.

Gentleness - Be respectful and honorable.

Patience - Be slow to react.

Grace “Bear with each other.” - Let people be exactly where they are

Forgiveness - Forgive those who have hurt you.

LOVE - Love incredibly, the way Jesus incredibly loved you.
