Wednesday Night Programming
We had our last week of dinner and Journey Groups this past Wednesday! There will be a break this summer, and then groups will start up again at the end of August.
VBS Kids Camp
June 7-11 | 6-8pm | VBS starts next Sunday night! This is a fun, FREE, annual event where kids enjoy music, Bible stories, games, snacks, and fun with friends. There is still time to get signed up and to invite your friends! This is for all kids entering Kindergarten- 5th grade. Sign up here: vbspro.events/p/95070b

If you have a kid or teen who would love to go to Summer Camp, check out our website for more details or to get them signed up. Kids who are finishing 1st-6th grades can go to kids' camp. Ezekiel 14:1-6
“You shall have no other gods before me.
You shall not make for yourself an idol...”
Exodus 20:3-4
“You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven: Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.”

Ezekiel 14
1 Some of the elders of Israel came to me and sat down in front of me. 2 Then the word of the Lord came to me: 3 “Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts...”
The issue with idols was never merely about carved images, but about captured hearts.

If a stumbling block is obvious, it’s not a stumbling block. The things that trip us up are the things that we weren’t looking for.

3... “Should I let them inquire of me at all? 4 Therefore speak to them and tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When any of the Israelites set up idols in their hearts and put a wicked stumbling block before their faces and then go to a prophet, I the Lord will answer them myself in keeping with their great idolatry.’”

5 “‘I will do this to recapture the hearts of the people of Israel, who have all deserted me for their idols.’”
