Join us for our Sunday morning worship gathering at 10:35 AM. This is the third week of our summer sermon series by Pastor Michael Flowers "God's Greatest Hits: Vol 1 - The Miracles of the Old Testament". Over the summer months we will be exploring some of the miraculous events and encounters contained in the Old Testament and learning why these still matter for us today. Today's message looks at the miracle God used to bring the Israelites out of Egypts grasp once and for all, the passage through the Red Sea.

Today's Point of Emphasis:
"When you can't see a way, God can make a way."
"When you can't see a way, God can make a way."

Plagues have happened, Pharaoh has let them go, and they are finally free. But then to what appears to be a dead end.

The Israelites panic.
They start saying things like: "Why did you bring us our here?" And "It would've been better to stay where we were."
Fear makes slavery feel safer than uncertainty.
If we're honest we have experienced similar and thought: "Maybe I should go back" OR "Maybe I should settle" OR "Maybe this isn't worth it.
Because stuck feels unbearable.

This is not a natural response because when we feel stuck, we want to move. But God says: "Stand."

When you can't see a way, God can make a way.
