Greece sends heralds to proclaim the euangelion, to proclaim the good news that a great victory had been won.
Euangelion or gospel originally wasn’t even about religion. It was simply good news about a great victory that had happened. The New Testament authors Matthew Mark Luke and John wrote their accounts of the Gospel of Jesus with that idea in mind.
Conservatively, Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophecies concerning his birth, life, death, and resurrection. Here are just a few examples.
He was Born of a Virgin - Isaiah 7:14
He was born in Bethlehem - Micah 5:2
He rode through the gates into Jerusalem on a Donkey…as only kings rode through the gates. - Zechariah 9:9
He was betrayed for Thirty Pieces of Silver - Zechariah 11:12-13
Death by Crucifixion - Psalm 22

Throughout the first 3 chapters of Mark, Jesus is consistently doing 3 things. Preaching the kingdom of God is near, healing, and freeing people from demon oppression.

For us to experience the Kingdom of God, we need to scatter the word of God in our “heart”.
Kingdom and farmer?
To experience the Kingdom of God, it requires faith.
To experience the kingdom of God, it requires patience.
To experience the Kingdom of God, we need to rely on God’s timing.
So what is the harvest you want to see in your life?
We need to plant those seeds in order to see a harvest. We need to scatter the Word of God more into our lives.
