Question:
Who are my enemies?
Main Point:
Loving my enemies means…
1. Resetting my response.
Definition:
Love – to have a warm regard for and interest in another, cherish, have affection for, love[1]; Whatever emotions may be involved, “love” here refers to “generous, warm, costly self-sacrifice for another’s good…”
Challenge:
How can I love others who hurt me?
Definition:
Dehumanizing - To dehumanize someone is to stop perceiving them as fully human — to mentally strip away the qualities that would normally command your empathy, respect, or moral consideration, so that they become a category, an obstacle, or a thing rather than a person.
Question:
This week, how can I serve someone who hurt me?
Main Point:
2. Offering prayer instead of retaliation.
Subpoint:
Praying produces better fruit than revenge.
Question:
How can I pray for my enemy this week?

Giving at the VIneyard

We don't pass a plate for tithes and offerings here at Vineyard, but we do believe that giving back through our finances is an important way to worship Jesus.
