SPIRITUAL INTIMACY
FOR ONE YEAR…
Stronger Foundation: Attend church with your spouse every Sunday possible.
Stronger Friendship: Schedule intentional alone time with your spouse.
Stronger Spiritual Intimacy: Pray daily for your spouse.
Stronger Sexual Intimacy: Have consistent sex with your spouse.
Stronger Communication: Commit to saying the right thing, in the right way, and at the right time with your spouse.
Stronger Roles: Discover and serve your spouse’s love language.
SCRIPTURE Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. Genesis 25:21
Sometimes the strongest spiritual bonding agent is pain.
Your marriage may be the result of your parent’s prayer life. But your marital success will depend on your prayer life.

Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. Psalm 92:13

Prayer is about intimacy with God and intercession for people.
It can be done aloud, in silence, or in written form.

“I ask You to save his soul.”
“I ask You to fill her with the Holy Spirit.”
“I ask You to make him whole.”
This speaks to spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical well-being.
“I ask You to give her a pure heart.”
“God, may they be repulsed by perversion.”
“I ask You to surround him good and godly friends.”
“I ask You to breathe upon all her efforts.”
“I ask You to give him Heaven’s wisdom.”
