Membership Class - May 17

There will be a Membership Class right after the service on Sunday, May 17. If you are considering joining Hillside, this is an important part of the process. You'll learn about the church and have an opportunity to dialogue with church leaders. Please email info@hillsidecommunity.org if you are interested in participating.

Prayer Night - May 18

Feeling overwhelmed with everything going on in the world? Prayer is the answer! Join us Monday, May 18 from 7:00-8:00pm in the coffee shop as we come together to pray for our church, our community, our nation, and our world. Please email the prayer team to submit prayer requests.

Family Promise Dinner - May 18

On Monday, May 18th, Hillside will be preparing and serving another dinner to families experiencing homelessness and sheltering with Family Promise. If you are interested in contributing part of the meal, please contact Jennifer Wilson at jjwilson1to6@msn.com. Thank you!

Men's Gathering - May 21

Men, join us for an evening of fellowship at Barrels and Bottles at Camp George West on Thursday, May 21 at 6:00pm. These gatherings provide a great opportunity for guys to connect, grow in friendship, and encourage one another in our walks with the Lord. Looking forward to catching up!

Annual Nicaragua BBQ Fundraiser - June 7

It is that time of the year again when we put on the Nicaragua BBQ Fundraiser! It will be happening June 7th after the church service. Come and enjoy tastes of Nicaraguan food and culture, fellowship with one another, and there will be a piñata for the kids! All donations will go towards the ministry in Nicaragua. We hope to see you there!

MINISTRY CONNECTION POINTS

Women's Ministry
Women's Ministry is encouraging the women of the church to read the Bible, just a chapter a day, and join the TableTop gathering for discussion the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm. The women's Saturday morning Bible study meets every other week at 9:00am at the church.

Men's Ministry
There is a men’s gathering on the third Thursday of every month. These gatherings provide great opportunities for ment to grow in their relationships with one another and with the Lord. There is also a men's prayer time at 6:00am on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.

Young Adults
The Young Adults group serves college students and young professionals. There are several gatherings throughout the month.

Youth Group
Youth Group includes both middle-schoolers and high-schoolers. The group meets on Sunday mornings during the service on all but the first Sunday of the month. The group also meets Sunday afternoons at 4:00pm.

Children's Ministry
Our Children's Ministry serves the kids of Hillside from nursery through fifth grade. We are always on the lookout for servant-hearted people who love kids to help with our Children's Ministry.

Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers offer one-to-one, Christ-centered, emotional and spiritual care for people in the congregation going through difficult times such as job loss, financial struggles, medical issues, or death of a loved one.

Care Team Ministry
The Care Team Ministry provides transportation for those in need in our Hillside Family.

Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Team hosts a monthly prayer night on the third Monday of the month at 7:00pm, and everyone is welcome! You can also receive prayer in person from 9:30-10:00am Sunday mornings in the cry room adjacent to the church lobby.

Meals Ministry
The Meals Ministry is a practical way to meet the needs of others in the congregation who are welcoming a new baby or experiencing challenging circumstances.
