Greatest Needs
Part of our church motto is "Serve Others" and we have so many wonderful servants in our church! We are highlighting a few needs in case you would like to help out. Email Jean- jmoy@mantenonazarene.org if interested.
1. We need someone who can help with weed whacking at the church. Either one person who can help each week, or we can form a team!

Summer Women's Bible Study
Jane Kawanna will be leading a study on Priscilla Shirer's "Armor of God" on Wednesday mornings at 10am or 6pm from June 17 to August 12. The study will invite you to explore the powerful tools God has given us to stand firm in faith and face the challenges of daily life. Drawing from Ephesians 6:10-18, this study encourages believers to recognize the spiritual battles we encounter and equips us to rely on God’s strength, truth, and protection. Contact Jane Kawanna, gram062019@outlook.com, for more information.

Go! The Great Commission
May 17, 2026
Matthew 28:19-20 & 1st Corinthians 2:1-5

Matthew 28:19 The Great Commission.
19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

This call that is given to us as Christians isn’t a call to live a life of passivity but rather it’s a call to action.

1st Corinthians 2:1-5 NIV
“And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom.2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.3 And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling,4 and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,5 so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”

In your going, God can use your past to help disciple those around you.

Live a life of demonstration.

Paul in his going is quick to: humble himself before the Lord.

Paul in his going is quick to: make clear his mission to those around him.

Paul in his going is quick to: live a life in demonstration of the spirit and power of God in his life.

The life Paul chose to live was one that not only showed the power of God through his transformation, but also demonstrated the possibility of what God can do with your willingness to GO.

Are you willing to GO?

The work the Lord has done in our lives should not be left in passivity, but rather in action.

The God of mercy and grace will meet you in your going.
