Jesus’ sacrifice makes it possible for ALL of us to receive the Holy Spirit and ACCESS God’s presence ANYWHERE.

The Purpose of Gathering

When we build a consistent RHYTHM of gathering as the church in families, households, and groups:
• We encounter and respond to God’s presence and wisdom together
• We unite around the hope of God’s promises
• We consider, encourage, and care for each other as family
• We become a community that embodies Jesus and embraces people who don’t follow him.

Action Steps:
• Imagine what a consistent rhythm of gathering could look like for your household or group.
• Discuss how you have viewed the purpose of gathering in the past. In what ways, if any, have you been challenged by the ideas that have been presented today?
• Initiate a conversation with someone you’ve never met before in this room before you leave.
