Mother's Day
May 10, 2026
Genesis 16:7, New Living Translation
The angel of the Lord found Hagar beside a spring of water in the wilderness, along the road to Shur.
1. When you feel alone…Jesus meets you where you are!
Genesis 16:8, NLT
The angel said to her, “Hagar, Sarai’s servant where have you come from, and where are you going?”

“I’m running away from my mistress, Sarai,” she replied.
Genesis 16:9, NLT
The angel of the Lord said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit to her authority.”
Genesis 16:10, NLT
Then he added, “I will give you more descendants than you can count.”
Genesis 16:11, NLT
And the angel also said, “You are now pregnant and will give birth to a son. You are to name him Ishmael (which means ‘God hears’), for the Lord has heard your cry of distress.
2. When you feel forgotten…God hears your cries!
3. When you feel unappreciated…God sees you!
Genesis 16:13a, NLT
Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord, who had spoken to her. She said, “You are the God who sees me.”
Genesis 16:13b, NLT
She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?”
Genesis 16:14, NLT
So that well was named Beer-lahai-roi (which means “well of the Living One who sees me”).

Small Groups

We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Small Groups beginning Sunday, May 17, 2026!

This season, our groups will be using a brand-new curriculum built directly from our Sunday messages — giving you the opportunity to go deeper into God’s Word, ask questions, grow in your faith, and build meaningful connections with others in our church family.

Small Groups are where community happens. It’s a place to be encouraged, known, prayed for, and strengthened alongside others walking the same journey of faith.

If you’ve been looking for your next step, this is it.
Don’t just attend church — get connected.

You can find available groups now on the Church Center app, or get with Chris Croy for help finding the right group for you.

Student Take-Over

Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 24th — our students are taking over!

During this special service, our students will be leading and serving throughout the entire experience. From worship to serving teams and more, you’ll get to see the next generation stepping up and using their gifts to serve the church.

You won’t want to miss this powerful and exciting Sunday!

More details are coming next week, but make plans now to be there and support our students as they lead the way.
