Family is not just a responsibility to manage; family is a divine appointment to steward.
Your family is not just a responsibility or an obligation. It is adivine appointment and a gift from God.
Family matters because God designed family to carry something sacred. Family was designed for:
1. Provision—giving people what they need.
2. Protection—covering people from what is meant to harm them.
3. Presence—simply being there.
And if we are going to build families that honor God, we have to come back to God’s design.
Your family is not just a responsibility or an obligation. It is adivine appointment and a gift from God.

Paul was not trying to reinforce the broken culture around them. He was showing them how the gospel transforms the home.
POINT I. Family Was Designed for Provision
Provision is love in practical form.
2. Family Was Designed for Protection
Provision gives people what they need.
Protection guards people from what is meant to harm them.
Psalm 91 paints the picture of God as a refuge and a fortress.
Psalm 121 reminds us that the Lord watches over our coming and going.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 says,“But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”

POINT III: FAMILY WAS DESIGNED FOR PRESENCE
Families live in the same house but hide behind screens,schedules, silence, resentment, and busyness.
A family cannot be healthy if everyone is technically there but emotionally absent.
POINT IV: Family Flourishes When Everyone Embraces Their God Given Roles
We have to kill the phrase “Do What I Say, and Not What I Do.”
