Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?

Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

May 10 - Child Dedication
On Sunday, May 10, we will be having a Baby & Child Dedication during both of our services (9:30 or 11 AM). If you have never publicly declared your commitment to raising your child to become a Christ-follower, then we want to encourage you to sign-up at HitTheRiver.com for our next Child Dedication service!

May 17 - See Ya, 5th Graders!
Parents and family of current 5th-graders are invited to join us for a celebration and promotion of their students from River Kids to River Youth! We will gather in the Youth room at 9:40 am on Sunday, May 17 to honor and pray over our kids as they make this exciting journey to student ministry!

May 17 - Church Business Meeting
Set aside Sunday afternoon, May 17th at 4:00 pm for a special meeting to approve the loan for the building. All are welcome to attend the meeting, only members will be participating in the vote to approve the loan amount.

May 18-20 - EntreLeadership live-streamed event
Dave Ramsey’s EntreLeadership Summit will be livestreamed at The River May 18-20. This is designed for business leaders, managers, business owners and any wanting to grow in leadership. You can attend all three days for FREE! Speakers include Dave Ramsey, Dr. John Delony, Rachel Cruze, Patrick Lencioni and more!

May 20 - Mobile Blood Drive
Be a local hero for someone in need, and sign up to donate! Mobile blood drive will be here from 3:00 - 6:00 pm on May 20. Sign up at HitTheRiver.com.

VBS Registration is OPEN!
Mark your calendars for this year's Vacation Bible School at The River! Surprise Party VBS will introduce kids to the unexpected grace of Jesus as we take a look at the several parties Jesus attended or hosted in the book of Luke! Through Bible lessons, games, age-group activities, and service project opportunities, the Bible will come alive for kids of all ages! Surprise Party VBS will be July 20-23 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM for Preschool-5th grade children. Spots are limited... register today!

Pathway to Hope Donation Drive
We are excited to support Pathway to Hope with a special donation drive for families in need. Beginning Sunday, April 26, a collection bin will be available for your contributions, and we will continue collecting items through Mother’s Day on May 10.

Donations items we are collecting are:
Diapers (sizes 3–6)
Diaper wipes (any size or type)
Baby lotion (any size or type)

Thank you for your generosity and for helping us make a meaningful difference in the lives of mothers and their little ones!

Affinity Group Events

May 4 - Ladies Book Club
May 4th we will be meeting to discuss Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline. We will be meeting at Liberty Collective at 6pm. For more info email Leslie@HitTheRiver.com.

May 9 - Craft Group
Bring whatever project you're working on and let's craft together. Whether you quilt, crochet, cross-stitch, scrapbook, paint......whatever it is you create, come and join us.

May 13 - J.O.Y. Group
(Just Older Youth)
We meet at The River from 1:00 - 2:30 pm. This is open to all River attenders, their friends and family. Contact the Pierson's at 607-793-0118 if you plan on attending.

May 15 - Card & Board Game Night
Join us for Board games and to celebrate Eric's 40th birthday! We will be meeting at the church from 6:30-9pm. We will have cake and ice cream so please let us know if you can make it by emailing ericmcgaffin@gmail.com. Please no gifts, we are looking forward to lots of fun and board games!

May 16 - Kayaking Group
Meeting at Hueston Woods at 9:00 am. Pack a lunch and bring your kayaks!

May 16 - Sport Clay Shooting
Meeting at 6942 Michael Rd, Middletown, OH 45042 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. for sport clay shooting.

May 27 - Ladies Who Lunch
Ladies! Bring your lunch and join us in the Cafe at noon. Enjoy an hour of fellowship and connection. Invite friends and coworkers to join you, the more the merrier!
