I Will Call upon the Lord

I will call upon the Lord
(I will call upon the Lord)
Who is worthy to be praised
(Who is worthy to be praised)
So shall I be saved from my enemies
(So shall I be saved from my enemies)

The Lord liveth
And blessed be the Rock
And let the God of my salvation
Be exalted

The Lord liveth
And blessed be the Rock
And let the God of my salvation
Be exalted

I will call upon the Lord
(I will call upon the Lord)
Who is worthy to be praised
(Who is worthy to be praised)
So shall I be saved from my enemies
(So shall I be saved from my enemies)

The Lord liveth
And blessed be the Rock
And let the God of my salvation
Be exalted

The Lord liveth
And blessed be the Rock
And let the God of my salvation
Be exalted

The Lord liveth
And blessed be the Rock
And let the God of my salvation
Be exalted

The Lord liveth
And blessed be the Rock
And let the God of my salvation
Be exalted
I will call upon the Lord

Listen to Our Hearts

How do you explain
How do you describe
A love that goes from east to west
And runs as deep as it is wide

You know all our hopes
Lord, You know all our fears
And words cannot express the love we feel
But we long for You to hear

So listen to our hearts
(O Lord, please listen)
Hear our spirits sing
(And hear us sing)

A song of praise that flows
(A simple song of praise)
From those You have redeemed
(From those You have redeemed)

We will use the words we know
To tell You what an awesome God You are
But words are not enough
To tell You of our love
So listen to our hearts

If words could fall like rain
From these lips of mine
And if I had a thousand years
Lord, I would still run out of time

If You listen to my heart
Ev’ry beat will say
Thank You for the life
Thank You for the truth
Thank You for the way

So listen to our hearts
(O Lord, please listen)
Hear our spirits sing
(And hear us sing)

A song of praise that flows
(A simple song of praise)
From those You have redeemed
(From those You have redeemed)

We will use the words we know
To tell You what an awesome God You are
But words are not enough
To tell You of our love
So listen to our hearts

But words are not enough
To tell You of our love
So listen to our hearts
He Leadeth Me

He leadeth me, O blessed thought
O words with heavenly comfort fraught
Whate'er I do, where'er I be
Still 'tis God's hand that leadeth me

He leadeth me, He leadeth me
By His own hand He leadeth me
His faithful follower I would be
For by His hand He leadeth me

Sometimes 'mid scenes of deepest gloom
Sometimes where Eden's bowers bloom
By waters still, o'er troubled sea
Still 'tis His hand that leadeth me

He leadeth me, He leadeth me
By His own hand He leadeth me
His faithful follower I would be
For by His hand He leadeth me

And when my task on earth is done
When by Thy grace the victory's won
E'en death's cold wave I will not flee
Since God thro' Jordan leadeth me

He leadeth me, He leadeth me
By His own hand He leadeth me
His faithful follower I would be
For by His hand He leadeth me
God So Loved

Come all you weary
Come all you thirsty
Come to the well that never runs dry
Drink of the water
Come and thirst no more

Come all you sinners
Come find His mercy
Come to the table, He will satisfy
Taste of His goodness
Find what you're looking for

For God so loved the world that He gave us
His one and only Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him will live forever

Bring all your failures
Bring your addictions
Come lay them down at the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting there
With open arms

For God so loved the world that He gave us
His one and only Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him will live forever

The power of hell forever defeated
Now it is well, I'm walking in freedom
For God so loved, God so loved the world

(Unison)
Praise God, praise God
From whom all blessings flow
(Parts)
Praise Him, praise Him
For the wonders of His love

Praise God, praise God
From whom all blessings flow
Praise Him, praise Him
For the wonders of His love

(No bass)
For God so loved the world that He gave us
His one and only Son to save

(Add bass)
For God so loved the world that He gave us
His one and only Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him will live forever

The power of hell forever defeated
Now it is well, I'm walking in freedom
For God so loved, God so loved the world

Bring all your failures
Bring your addictions
Come lay them down at the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting
God so loved the world

Follow

I give my life to follow Jesus
Captive to Christ I know true freedom
I count it all joy to take up my cross
I’ll follow

These earthly wells have left me thirsty
All worldly wisdom comes up empty
Only Your word and only Your ways
I’ll follow

What a joy it is to follow Jesus
What a gift it is to bear His name
What an honor to choose surrender
And make Him my everything

When the darkness brings its questions
When trusting You becomes a wrestle
I have resolved no matter the cost
I’ll follow

What a joy it is to follow Jesus
What a gift it is to bear His name
What an honor to choose surrender
And make Him my everything

Yes to surrender, yes to the altar
Yes to Your plans for me
Yes to correction, yes to confession
Yes to refining me

Yes to Your blessing, yes to anointing
Your Spirit alive in me
Yes to salvation and resurrection
Yes to eternity

What a joy it is to follow Jesus
What a gift it is to bear His name
What an honor to choose surrender
And make You my everything

And make You my everything
Lord, You are my everything
I Have Decided to Follow Jesus

I have decided to follow Jesus
I have decided to follow Jesus

I have decided to follow Jesus
No turning back, no turning back

The world behind me, the cross before me
The world behind me, the cross before me

The world behind me, the cross before me
No turning back, no turning back

Tho' none go with me, still I will follow
Tho' none go with me, still I will follow

Tho' none go with me, still I will follow
No turning back, no turning back

Stop the Bleed Safety Course

Saturday, May 16, 9 a.m.

A life-threatening bleeding injury can happen anywhere, and the person next to a victim may very well be the one most likely to prevent fatal bleeding. Northside is offering an ACS Stop the Bleed course on Saturday, May 16, at 9 a.m. This 2-hour course will help you become an immediate responder by learning how to control bleeding injuries from serious accidents or disasters.

Participants in the course will learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control it with three quick techniques. The ACS Stop the Bleed training course will empower you to make a life-or-death difference when a bleeding emergency happens.

The course is free, but space is limited, so please register at nscoc.org/stop-the-bleed. If class capacity is exceeded, participants will be waitlisted and notified of future course dates. Open to adults (16+) and youth ages 10–15 with a parent or guardian.

Hosted by Northside Church of Christ, 19818 US Highway 281 N, San Antonio, TX 78258. For more information, email safety@nscoc.org.
