Making commitments to God is not a way to EARN His favor, it’s a way to RESPOND to His love.

Jacob: “Surely the LORD is in this place”
“How awesome is this place!”

GOD: “I will give YOU… I will bless YOU… Through YOU all people will be blessed.”
