Risen Life Church

Worship Sevice - Acts 18:1-17 - Go On Speaking
In Part II of our Acts Series, To the Ends of the Earth, we will consider the church’s expansion beyond Jerusalem into Judea, Samaria, and all the World. This series will cover Acts 9:32-20:38 and all the missionary activities of Peter, Paul, and others. In Acts 1:8 Jesus told his disciples and us that we would be spirit empowered witnesses to the ends of the Earth. I invite you to join us as we learn from the growth of the church beyond Jerusalem and into the Gentile world how we can be spirit empowered witness for Jesus today.

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done"
“Do not be afraid… "
“It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.” – C. S. Lewis, The Weight of Glory
