College Student Goodie Bags
We are collecting items for end of the year goodie bags for our college students. Little Debbie snack cakes, cuties, granola bars, laundry detergent packets, etc. Donations can be brought to the church office.
Youth Group Meals
Do you love cooking? Would you love to help out our youth group? Every Sunday night our 7th-12th graders enjoy dinner together. The meals don't have to be fancy, anything easy is fine! They are teens, so they eat pretty much everything. If you would be interested in providing a meal, please contact Jean at jmoy@mantenonazarene.org.

They are global missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene, currently serving on the Western Mediterranean Field. During Faith Promise, you will have the opportunity to pledge a monetary gift that can be given systematically for global missions throughout the year. Giving through Faith Promise is an adventure and an opportunity to allow God to show how He provides when we open our hearts in generosity.

Jesus Meets You There: In Fear in Following
John 20:19-23
April 12, 2026
“We can’t explore deeper unless we are doing a few things that are inconvenient, unless we’re making a few sacrifices, unless we’re making a few risks. And those things are all worth it.”

19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”
John 20
20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
John 20
21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you!As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
John 20
22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”
Three primary fears the keep us from following God...
“I’m afraid of ME.”
The room of shame: what you believe about you has more power than what Jesus believes about you.
Three primary fears the keep us from following God...
“I’m afraid of OTHERS.”
The room of rejection: what others might do to you has more power than what Jesus says he can do for you.
Three primary fears the keep us from following God...
“I’m afraid of GOD.”
Three primary fears the keep us from following God...
“I’m afraid of GOD.”
The room of control: I’m afraid of what God might ask me to do.
God’s call to surrender isn’t intended to frighten you, but to free you.
Giving up control is opening the door to who you were always meant to be.
The Spirit’s role is to complete you.
The Spirit’s role is to complete you.
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
2 Timothy 1:7
The Spirit’s role is to complete you.
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.
