Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

Upcoming Events at The River

April 8 - May 20 - Ladies Spring Bible Study
Ladies join us for a bible study this spring. The study is 7 weeks long and will begin on April 8 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. The study is titled “Heaven” by Jennifer Rothschild. In this 7-session video-based study, Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. She will separate what’s true about Heaven from what’s based on legend, media depictions, and hopeful guesses. As you walk through the study, you'll not only gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children, but also learn how to live with confidence today as you look forward to the glorious unending that awaits. April 8 - J.O.Y. Group (Just Older Youth)
This is a group of active middle agers and senior adults, singles or couples, who gather monthly to enjoy their God given life through Christian fellowship, education and occasional activities of service to our church and community. There is no cost to participate, participants may contact the Pierson's at 607-793-0118 if you plan on attending. Dessert, Coffee, Tea and water will be served. This is open to all River attenders and their friends, family and community members in the surrounding area.

April 11 - High School Hangout at The Millard's
High schoolers are invited to hang out at the Millard’s house on April 11 from 5:30–8:30 PM! Dinner will be provided, and we’ll spend the evening playing games and enjoying time together. Bring a friend and come join the fun!

April 26 - Breakout & Build
Our next Breakout & Build is April 26. This is a night created for both middle school and high school students to come together — and then intentionally grow within their own stage of life. This night is slightly longer than normal youth group time, we will meet from 6:00 - 8:00 PM
We’ll break out into middle school and high school groups so each group can spend focused time together through games, worship, teaching, and real conversations! Middle schoolers are bringing the snacks this month. If you have any questions, feel free to email Ty@Hittheriver.com.

April 26 - May 10 - Pathway to Hope Donation Drive
We are excited to support Pathway to Hope with a special donation drive for families in need. Beginning Sunday, April 26, a collection bin will be available for your contributions, and we will continue collecting items through Mother’s Day on May 10.

Donations items we are collecting are:
Diapers (sizes 3–6)
Diaper wipes (any size or type)
Baby lotion (any size or type)

Thank you for your generosity and for helping us make a meaningful difference in the lives of mothers and their little ones!

May 10 - Child Dedication
On Sunday, May 10, we will be having a Baby & Child Dedication during both of our services (9:30 or 11 AM). If you have never publicly declared your commitment to raising your child to become a Christ-follower, then we want to encourage you to sign-up at HitTheRiver.com for our next Child Dedication service!

May 17th - See Ya, 5th Graders!
Parents and family of current 5th-graders are invited to join us for a celebration and promotion of their students from River Kids to River Youth! We will gather in the Youth room at 9:40 am on Sunday, May 17 to honor and pray over our kids as they make this exciting journey to student ministry! If your child is a current 5th grader being recognized, please send their t-shirt size to Taylor@Hittheriver.com by April 15.
