• Meditation Verse: last week, we discussed 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. How has this verse affected your life this week?

Focus Verse. Revelation 21:22 is a powerful reminder that we will spend eternity in the presence of the Lord. As a group, read this verse three times - each time, speak it louder.

What is one thing that you would like to experience on earth before you get to Heaven?

Sean taught that there are four things that are true because of eternity. Let's discuss.

Because of Eternity, we have hope for failing. Have someone read 1 Peter 1:3-4.

1. Take a few moments to close your eyes and meditate on the fact that there will be no sin in Heaven. No temptations that you currently struggle with, no guilt that you feel for giving in to those temptations, no fear that you're going to slip up again. None of it - it won't exist. Sit in that feeling of freedom and silently thank God that we have this to look forward to for eternity.

Because of Eternity, we have anticipation for healing. Have someone read 2 Corinthians 4:17-18.

** 2. What healing are you most looking forward to in eternity? **

Because of Eternity, we have purpose for living. Have someone read 1 Corinthians 15:58.

** 3. What is God's purpose for you right now, in this current chapter of your life? **

4. If you know your specific purpose, what are you doing to fulfill it? If you don't know your purpose, are you asking Him to reveal it to you? Do you have the faith to obey when He shows you?

Because of Eternity, we need urgency for the dying. Have someone read Romans 10:14.

5. Do you have a sense of urgency to share the message of salvation with your friends and family? If so, what are you doing with that?

6. If you don't have a sense of urgency to share the message of salvation with your friends and family, why not?

Prayer 4U - Put names in a hat and have everyone pick a name. Pray for your person this week that he or she would have urgency and boldness to share the Gospel with someone this week.

Guided Prayer - (Leader, include the following in your prayer time). Father, thank you for the hope of eternity with You - an eternity free from temptation and sin. Give us the strength to live with the hurts and pain that we have on this earth, knowing that one day we will be healed. Show us our purpose each day and give us the courage to live it out. And give us a sense of urgency and boldness to tell others of the wonderful truth of salvation through your Son. It's in His name, the name of Jesus, that we pray. AMEN
