Truth & Wisdom comes from:
• Our feelings
• Our feelings
“What does it mean to be your most authentic self? Being my most authentic self is being my true self, and being my true self means looking inward and figuring out what I’m needing and wanting for me, what makes me feel good, what makes me feel like me? . . . When I chose to love myself and embrace my transness and my gender, I became the most authentic me that I had ever been in my entire life.”
Truth & Wisdom comes from:
• Our feelings
• A secret and hidden knowledge
• Our feelings
• A secret and hidden knowledge
The foolishness of the world:
• Unbelievers are blinded
• Unbelievers are blinded
The foolishness of the world:
• Unbelievers are blinded
• Unbelievers are self-deceived
• Unbelievers are blinded
• Unbelievers are self-deceived
The foolishness of the world:
• Unbelievers are blinded
• Unbelievers are self-deceived
• Unbelievers don't have the Spirit of God
• Unbelievers are blinded

• Unbelievers don't have the Spirit of God
Key Theme:
The wisdom of this world leads to destruction but the wisdom from God leads to life.
Key Application:
As followers of Jesus, we need to stop depending on our own wisdom and being influenced by the wisdom of the world, and be dependent on the Holy Spirit who teaches us spiritual truth.
Key Verses:
1 Corinthians 2:14-16 “The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind
of Christ.”
Key Questions:
1. In what ways has our culture's emphasis on personal feelings and experience as truth affected your own understanding of what is true and right?
2. Why do you think the message of Christ crucified was and continues to be such a stumbling block to both religious and secular people?
3. How can you discern whether you are walking in the wisdom that comes from the Holy Spirit versus relying on your own understanding?

Give Online
Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
