Upcoming Events at The River
March 15 - Breakout & Build Night
Breakout & Build is a night created for both middle school and high school students to come together — and then intentionally grow within their own stage of life. This night is slightly longer than normal youth group time, we will meet from 6:00 - 8:00 PM
We’ll break out into middle school and high school groups so each group can spend focused time together through games, worship, teaching, and real conversations! High schoolers are bringing the snacks this month. If you have any questions, feel free to email Ty@Hittheriver.com.
March 18 - Toddler Open Play
On the first and third Wednesday morning of each month, our Toddler and Nursery classrooms will be available for drop-in style play, fellowship, and fun! Invite friends and neighbors to join you and your kids for some play at church! This is a non-staffed, parent stay style program. When you arrive at The River for open play, simply enter the "West Entrance" doors, ring the doorbell, and a staff member will let you in!
March 28 - River Youth Serve Day
We’re excited to share that our River Church Youth Group will be serving together for our upcoming Service Day at Matthew 25 Ministries! During our time there, we will be helping however we can — sorting food, stocking shelves, cleaning, and serving in any way that is needed. It’s a great opportunity to serve our community and be the hands and feet of Jesus together!
Details are below:
Date: Saturday, March 28
Meeting Location: Matthew 25 Ministries

April 8 - May 20 - Ladies Spring Bible Study
Ladies join us for a bible study this spring. The study is 7 weeks long and will begin on April 8 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. The study is titled “Heaven” by Jennifer Rothschild. In this 7-session video-based study, Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. She will separate what’s true about Heaven from what’s based on legend, media depictions, and hopeful guesses. As you walk through the study, you'll not only gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children, but also learn how to live with confidence today as you look forward to the glorious unending that awaits.
