Scriptural definition: God’s announcement of His plan of salvation and blessing to His people.
1. According to Dr. Evert Storms, there are 8810 promises in the Bible.
2. About 7500 are promises from God to man.
3. All of these promises reside in the person of Jesus Christ.
4. God’s promises will never fail.
5. Every promise will be fulfilled to the letter.

A. Most people do not struggle with needs, but with wants.
B. There is a definite correlation between obedience and blessing.

A. Times of uncertainty do not cancel the promises of God.
B. God’s time-table for the end includes the rise and fall of nations.
Everything centers on Christ.
