The absence of peace is the presence of a believed lie.

The enemy uses lies to disrupt the revelation of your covenant in Christ so that you willingly give up on the promises of God.

PEACE (world)– absence of external chaos

PEACE (word) – absence of internal chaos

PEACE OF GOD – the internal position of covenant and harmony with God that promises victory where we are lacking nothing and completely whole.

The covenant of Christ is the only thing that threatens the enemy.

2. WHY THE LIE STAYS

HEZEKIAH: Yahweh is my strength

The man whose name means Yahweh is my strength is acting like silver, and gold is his strength.

Hezekiah is dismantling worship to fund his worry.

Your worship to God does not change God it changes your proximity to truth.

Jerusalem: foundation of peace

When you perform for the liar, you think you are controlling the narrative of the lie, but the reality is the lie is controlling you and robbing your peace.

Lies are not satisfied by compromise; the price will forever increase.

3. HOW THE LIE DIES

Until the lies are confronted, the bride will always operate outside the power of covenant.

Hezekiah laid the list before the Lord & prayed:
- Tell me who you are.
- Deliver me.
- For your glory.

32 “Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria:... 33 By the way that he came, by the same he shall return 34 For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake and for the sake of my servant David.” (Davidic covenant)

35 And that night the angel of the Lord went out and struck down 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians.

Struck (Nakah) - beat, smite, kill; a word used to show royal enforcement of covenant terms.

The peace of Christ guards the covenant of Christ in you, and it is that truth that sets you free!

Today, we stop spending our time, energy, emotions, and resources disproving a lie that has already been defeated!
