💙 Heart For Mercy
One time a year, we bring a special offering unto the Lord. We ask God for His heart for His house, and we call it Heart for Mercy!
We’re asking everyone in the community of Mercy Culture to pray and ask God for His heart for His house. Ask the Lord what offering pleases Him, then obey!
On Sunday, March 1, we will come together as a church family and bring our offering as worship unto the Lord. Our elders and pastors will pray over every offering during a holy moment of bringing our best love offering to God.

3 Ways to Connect With God Through Remembrance
1. Remember what the Word of God says and the teachings you have heard.
1. Remember what the Word of God says and the teachings you have heard.
Connecting with God through Remembrance in Scripture and the teachings you have been taught in this house is so important!
Question:
How do you confront lies if you stop seeking the truth?
How do you confront lies if you stop seeking the truth?
You can not and will not because you can no longer decipher between lies and truth.
Therefore we begin to live off the opinions of man!
This is why you have been attacked so much with sharing your testimony. The first accusation you hear from the Enemy is: "That's not the truth! You're making this up."
He will try to make you fear that you don't know the Word well enough, and that you will look like a fool.

Question:
What wars against your encounters with God through Remembrance?
What wars against your encounters with God through Remembrance?
Answer:
Encounters with demons through remembrance.
Encounters with demons through remembrance.
The enemy always tries to imitate what Christ does, but it’s a counterfeit.
This is why so many Christians fall away. They can't discern or see the difference between the real thing and a counterfeit!
This is why so many Christians fall away. They can't discern or see the difference between the real thing and a counterfeit!
The counterfeit of Remembrance is where demons will get you to stew on things in people you dislike, or what they did to you, even if it was years ago. Demons will get you to focus on frustrations, offenses, pain, abuse, and the negative things so that you can never spiritually grow past that moment, forgive, heal, or believe for someone's freedom and redemption!
Encounters With Demons Through Remembrance Happen in 2 Ways
1. Real-life scenarios that did happen
1. Real-life scenarios that did happen
When we stay in a place of remembrance of the bad things and the hardships, we actually begin to reminisce with demons, and anger fills us instead of love; bitterness fills us instead of forgiveness; offense fills us instead of God's redeeming power!
This is a direct attack on faith because when we focus on just the hardship, but not what the Lord has done in our lives to save us, deliver us, restore us—we give glory to the Enemy and what he did, and steal glory from God for what He rescued us out of.
Not only does it steal glory from God, but it destroys the growth of our faith in God. When we only remember what horrible thing happened to us, we fail to recognize how big God is. This is why many people struggle with fear—their focus is on the bad things, and they remember what the Enemy did better than what God did.
Instead, we should focus on how God has shown up; how He brought us peace; how He restored our marriages; how He delivered us from those addictions; how He spoke to us in the midst of those trials—then our faith grows in God, knowing that what He did for us before, He can do again!

1. Real-life scenarios that did happen
2. Fake scenarios that did not happen
1. Real-life scenarios that did happen
2. Fake scenarios that did not happen
Many people do this in their everyday lives and don't even realize they are encountering demons. They will think thoughts of rejection, hurt, and pain from other people that aren't actually real. It's not real, but it becomes real to them because they have allowed the Enemy to fill their minds with fear, hurt, rejection, and offense—even though it didn't really occur. People will begin to isolate, operate in fear, and reject others—all because they encountered demons through remembrance.
A pastor told a story where he drove home from work, tired from a long day, and all of the sudden he started imagining his wife upset with him and nagging him in an unloving way. He pictured this in his mind as if it was something he remembered happening before, and by the time he got home, he was being mean to his wife. He responded harshly toward her until she asked, "Why are you so upset with me? Why are you being so harsh?" He realized that he was treating his wife this way based on a fake reality he saw even before he got home. He had been reminiscing and encountering the demonic through remembrance.
The Enemy will paint any and every bad picture about good people in your life that he can because he loves division!
Narcissistic leaders from my past twisted stories and told people lies about others to create false narratives in the minds of those that they wanted an alliance with and loyalty from. They would create division and paint false pictures of good people to break trust in those relationships to destroy people's minds and relationships to control family, friends, coworkers and more.
People that listened to these false narratives repeated those stories as if they were their own memories years later, not realizing they had been under a demonic spirit that controlled them and brewed offense in them to destroy their lives.

It's a direct assault on unity when demons take false scenarios and try to place them as memories, intending that we attack or hurt the people in our lives that we should be unified with.
This is where we must wash ourselves with the Word of God—the Truth!

We renew our minds and purify ourselves with the Word of God!

Joseph's dreams took 22 years to be fulfilled!
Through betrayal, slavery, false accusation, imprisonment, and the eventual fulfillment of his dreams, God used Joseph's faithfulness as he remembered what God spoke through a prophetic dream to save his family and a nation!

Remember the breakthroughs, the miracles, the answered prayers, the encounters and visitations!
Mary encounters the angel Gabriel, one of the most significant angelic visitations in history—where God sends Gabriel to Mary to decree that she would be pregnant with God's Son, the Savior of the world—Jesus.
As exciting as this may seem, it meant her reputation was destroyed.
Women who got pregnant out of wedlock became a throwaway from their family and society, and no one would want to marry them. They could even face severe punishment, like stoning.
Despite this, Mary answered: "I am a servant of the Lord!"

After The Holy Visitation, Chaos Breaks Out
- Joseph and Mary travel 90 miles from Nazareth to Bethlehem on foot and donkey while Mary is pregnant.
- They arrive in Bethlehem to find there are no rooms available. She gives birth and lays Jesus in a manger.
- Then she has to face the threat of the death of her child from King Herod's order to kill all male babies. The young family journeys hundreds of miles to Egypt to protect Him.
- They live as exiles until King Herod dies, then return to Nazareth.
- This was just the start of a life of obscurity leading to the moment she has to watch her son carry His cross and be nailed to it.

Can you imagine how many times Mary must have bowed her head and closed her eyes, remembering Gabriel coming to her and calling her to carry and birth the Messiah?
Her Remembrance kept her!
Do you remember?
Not the slavery—but the fact that He brought you out of the slavery!
He has been so good!

He became a guide and vessel of the Enemy, even though he was chosen by God!
Instead of being a receiver of Jesus' holy blood, his own blood was poured out in vain!
He forgot the works, miracles, and love of Jesus—and it destroyed him!
He forgot the works, miracles, and love of Jesus—and it destroyed him!
I believe encountering God through Remembrance will be an end-time weapon of warfare—to remember who He is, what He has said, and what He has done!
Those who do not may be swept away by false teachers and prophets, thinking it's the truth, maybe even forgetting all that God has done in their lives.
When you forget the Shepherd and what He has done for you, you are susceptible to the foolish shepherds—the false prophets and teachers who will lead you into destruction!
Church, do you remember who He is?
Do you remember what He has done for you?
Do you remember what He has spoken over you—the dreams, visions, prophetic words, and whispers?
Do you remember what His Word says so that you can remain faithful and courageous in this hour?
