Mark declares at the beginning of his letter that Jesus is good news. Good news for everyone. There is something deeply wrong and broken about our world—we can see it around us. We can feel it inside of us. The arrival, life, death, resurrection, and the ascension of Jesus address this wrongness and brokenness in our world in profound and eternally significant ways that reverse the curse of sin and restore us and all of creation as it should be.

FAITH CHALLENGE
1. Make your plans, but invite God to set your schedule. You tell him right now that you’re okay with some interruptions and the unexpected. You’re ready to see people that he brings along your path with compassion.
2. What resource that you have deemed wildly insufficient do you need to put in Jesus’ hands so he can make it more than enough? You just say, “Here you go, Jesus. I don’t see how this is going to meet this need, but I’m going to trust that you’re going to make it more than enough.”
