For this New Year, I will Stand Strong.
I haven’t been intentional about standing strong against the temptation to sin, so beginning this week I will put on:

•Truth – Each day, I will COMMIT to living in truth
-Satan is the deceiver; he wants me to buy the lies of our culture, and my own insecurities.
•Righteousness – Each day, I will DECIDE to do what is right
-I will honor God by my actions.
•The Gospel – Each day, I will REMEMBER the Gospel
-Jesus died for me, and therefore I have peace with God; God is NOT my enemy.
•Faith – Each day, I will TRUST God
-He is in control and wants what’s best for me.
•Salvation – Each day, I will REST in hope
-My future is secure because of my rescue by Christ.
•Word of God – Each day, I will READ the Bible
-The Bible is how I push back against sin’s temptation; If I’m not in the Bible, the Bible is not in me in the time of need.
•Prayer – Each day, I will PRAY
-My battle against sin can only be fought with God’s strength and His power!

mc3EATS is an mc3-wide potluck-type meal that takes place after the Worship Experienc2e on the THIRD* Sunday in October (fall) and March (spring).
As we've done the last few years, we're going to have another c3Opportunity for Shelter Services. We're not only providing food for mc3, but also providing food for those in need in Mifflin County. They've asked us to help with disposable razors, 30 gallon trash bags, and coffee, so we're asking everyone to sign up for the meal AND bring either:
•disposable razors
OR
•30gal trash bags
OR
•canned coffee
to donate to Shelter Services. We will have a bin next to the Info Table that Sunday!
The sign-up sheet for food and drinks is at the Info Table in the lobby.
