Welchman's invention, The Diagonal Board, improved the Bombe Machine.

God uses unexpected people in unexpected ways!
Ehud wasn't who they expected to defeat the King...
he was left handed!
Deborah wasn't who they expected as a Judge...
she was a woman!
Jael wasn't who they expected to defeat the army commander...
she wasn't a soldier or Israelite!
How does God use ordinary or unexpected people like us to accomplish His plans?
1. God sees what others miss
Ehud could have been seen as weak or untrustworthy for being left-handed
Deborah could have been dismissed for being a woman
Jael could have been overlooked because she wasn't an Israelite or soldier
2. God's plans aren't always predictable
Ehud escaped through the latrine.
Deborah led with wisdom and faith instead of a sword like other judges.
Jael used what she had on hand.
3. God moves through those who trust Him
Ehud trusted God with the plan.
Deborah trusted God to win the battle.
Jael trusted God enough to act when the opportunity arrived.
