Foundation for the Future: Commitment Sunday
Part 5
March 22, 2026
Preparing for a miracle
John 6:5, English Standard Version
Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?”
John 6:6, ESV
He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.
1. Identify your need.
John 6:7, ESV
Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.”
John 6:8-9, ESV
One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him, “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many?”
2. Offer what you have to Jesus.
John 6:10, ESV
Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number.
John 6:11, ESV
Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks,

he distributed them to those who were seated.

So also the fish, as much as they wanted.
4. Watch God multiply what we’re willing to give Him.
John 6:12, ESV
And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples, “Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost.”

John 6:13, ESV
So they picked up the pieces and filled twelve baskets with scraps left by the people who had eaten from the five barley loaves.

Night of Worship/Baptims

We’re excited to invite you to a special Worship Night on Good Friday, April 3rd at 7:00 PM. This will be a powerful evening as we come together to reflect, worship, and remember the incredible love and sacrifice of Jesus.

During this service, we will also be celebrating baptisms—a beautiful step of faith and a public declaration of new life in Christ. If you’ve been thinking about taking this next step, we want to encourage you: this is your moment.

If you would like to be baptized, please fill out a connection card. Be sure to include your phone number and check the box that says, “Today I have decided to be baptized” on the back. One of our staff members will follow up with you soon. You can also click the link the below

Don’t miss this meaningful night—we believe God is going to move in a special way. Invite someone, come expectant, and let’s worship together.

Foundation Day on the Land

Join us for Foundation Day on the Land, a special evening for our church family as we celebrate what God is building for the future.

During the evening we will place a time capsule in the ground that will remain sealed for the next 30 years. It will be a meaningful moment as we mark this season in our church’s story and look forward to all God will do in the decades to come.

This will also be a fun, family-friendly gathering with activities for everyone, including an Easter egg hunt, bounce houses, pony rides, hay rides, volleyball, gaga ball, 9 square, music from a DJ, and more. We will also have hot dogs and popcorn available.

Feel free to bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs so you can relax and enjoy the evening together.
