It is His grace that saves His people

We don’t know exactly what certain Corinthian believers were doubting about the resurrection of the dead but here are a few possibilities
• Jesus’s resurrection was a one off
• The soul is immortal but the body isn’t (would have meshed with Greek thought)
• The reality of our bodily resurrection isn’t that important for us to reckon with

If there is no resurrection...
This (book) is a lie
The faith we proclaim is built on a lie and is useless
The dead are as good as dust
Our Christian life is a waste of time
Without the resurrection we are nothing more than a social club
