We Feast - the King is making dinner!
The heavenly Shepherd King receives us at his table. The LORD is our Host!
We’re not afraid at His table – for the King is with us!
There’s blessing, even in the presence of danger, even in the presence of enemies.
God is always with me…in good times and hard times.
In the midst of tension and turmoil, (with Gods help) I can still choose peace.
We forgive because the King first forgave us!
Forgiveness is the mark of someone who’s truly been forgiven!
Handcuffed by Love – Joy Jacobs
The All-powerful Sovereign, watching from afar, feeling each nail point, the pain of each puncture, but handcuffed by love.
The All sufficient El Shaddai, the Provider and Nurturer, hearing his own Son scream in terrible thirst, but handcuffed by love.
The All-sensitive Jehovah-raah, who never lost a lamb, holding his hands to his ears -“My God, my God, MY GOD! Why have you abandoned me?” A God handcuffed by love.
God, the Father in handcuffs… Jesus Christ, hands caught by nails, freeing the Holy Spirit to work in our lives.
