God uses weakness to prepare us for His purpose | When God Seems Silent - Part 04
When God Seems Silent traces the beginning of Israel’s dramatic shift from captivity to covenant. Covering Exodus chapters 1–2, this series picks up the biblical narrative where Genesis left off—God’s people, the descendants of Abraham, are in Egypt, once a place of refuge, now turned into a land of bondage. Through four foundational episodes, we’ll see how God’s providence, protection, and purpose shine through suffering, evil, and injustice. This series invites us to consider how God's sovereignty operates even when He seems silent. It sets the stage for the greater exodus—freedom from sin—and calls us to trust God's power, presence, and promise even in seasons of oppression or exile. Moses tries to deliver his people in his own strength—and fails. Fleeing to Midian, he enters a wilderness season. But this is not the end of his story. This message emphasizes how God shapes leaders through failure, isolation, and waiting.
