SELF-DECEPTION - the act of misleading or hiding the truth from yourself.
Self-Deception comes from our ability to apply or create truth to fit our circumstances.

Self-deception leads to self-sabotage
SELF-SABOTAGE - deliberate or unintentional or unnoticed damage, obstruction, or destruction preventing success plan
Self-deception is believing your own ways; leading to self-sabotage, bringing damage, obstruction, or destruction preventing success
Self-deception is carnal thinking, “since God dealt with sin in Jesus, why do I struggle so much? "
Self-sabotage allows sin to remain active while wondering, “why doesn’t God do something?”
Trust - have confidence, safety, security (requiring a focus - in the LORD).
heart - inner man, will, the production room of your soul (requires an “all”). lean - trust for support (requires a no, not, never).
understanding - discernment (requires an honest assessment of who it belongs to).
ways - journey or manner of life (requires you to recognize that your ways are important to you).
acknowledge - to make know (by relational and experiential advantage). direct - make straight, upright, smooth (HIS direction is always purposeful to accomplish).
paths - manner of travel, race, course of life (His path is your course of life).
