Sunday, January 25 | 11:45am | Church Gym | This Sunday is the pie auction! Everyone is invited to stay after 2nd service for a soup lunch followed by lots of dessert. If you can donate a homemade dessert to be auctioned off it is much appreciated. Thank you for supporting our youth!
Youth Membership Class
Sundays, February 8 and 15 | 12-1:30pm | Pastor Ken will be leading a special 2-part membership class that is designed especially for teens. All students in 7th-12th grades are welcome to attend. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what we believe as a church in a pressure free environment. Membership is not required upon completion of the classes but the students will be eligible to become members if they wish. Lunch will be provided. If you are interested, please let Elliott or Mykenna know.

Saturday, February 21 | 3-5pm | Church Gym | Mark your calendars! MC Milestones is hosting a fun and relaxed afternoon for adults ages 55 and older. Join us for fellowship, laughter, and a delicious meal shared with friends. Doors open at 2:30 PM, with food served at 3:00 PM. The cost to attend is $5 per person. Registration is required and attendance is limited to 100 guests. To register email mcmilestones@mantenonazarene.org or call (708) 374-8651.

This opportunity is open to all men ages 13 and older. The conference will be held at Ashburn Baptist Church in Orland Park. MC Milestones will collect payment and purchase all tickets at the group rate. To register, please speak with Ralph or call 708-374-8651. The deadline for registration and payment is Feb 18. We will meet at the church to carpool to the conference or you can travel on your own if you prefer.

Who tells you who you are?

14... “Go and see if all is well with your brothers and with the flocks, and bring word back to me.”

19 “Here comes that dreamer!” they said to each other. 20 “Come now, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns and say that a ferocious animal devoured him. Then we’ll see what comes of his dreams.”

23 So when Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped him of his robe—the ornate robe he was wearing— 24 and they took him and threw him into the cistern.
